CTS arquitectes is an architecture, urban planning and design studio.

CTS arquitectes was founded in 1998 by architects Norman Cinnamond, Carlos Torrentó and Antoni Sala, giving continuity to the professional career of Norman Cinnamond (1941-2020), which began in 1971.

The studio is currently run by one of the founding partners, Antoni Sala, and two associate architects, Sabrina Calzolari and Jaume Aballí.

We have a selected network of collaborators that allow us to work in an interdisciplinary way and to carry out any type of architectural project, from small to large scale, with customised teams fully adapted to the needs of each project.

Responsible and sustainable architecture

CTS is increasingly committed to the development of sustainable projects, at different scales.

Of particular note is the Selvamar Business Campus complex (2023), which is considered to be the most sustainable office complex in the world, according to the LEED Sustainable Building Rating.

The building complex has LEED Platinum Certification, with 92 points, receiving the world record score in the LEED V4 category (updated version 2023) for Building Design and Construction, Core & Shell, and now tops an international list of more than 5,000 properties, meaning this project is a global benchmark in sustainability and innovation.

Pioneers in BIM

In 1993, CTS was a pioneer in the implementation of the BIM (Building Information Modelling) work methodology with the adoption of ArchiCAD software as a project development tool. BIM is a collaborative work methodology that we offer to our most demanding customers for the design, construction and management of building projects. The methodology centralises all the project information in a digital model developed and shared by all its agents.

We consider BIM to be an essential tool for ensuring efficiency and quality in the development of all phases of large-scale projects and works.

Where we are?

CTS arquitectes has its studio on the first floor of the P99 building, in Barcelona’s 22@ district, at C/Pallars 99, in a building designed by us in 2010 and recently extended (2022).
