Finalist in the FAD Awards. The park is located in the former gardens of a residence-palace which no longer exists. The plot of land, of about 12 hectares, slopes gently to the south, and the park is configured on a circuit with three distinct parts: the south-facing part, where the old palace stood, which is reconstructed with vegetation in the form of a labyrinth, surrounded by palm trees, cypresses and flowerbeds; the lake area, with pergolas, islands, grottos with a romantic image reminiscent of novels by R. L. Stevenson, and the avenue area with cypresses, statues and paved areas in the open air. In them, a series of elements are placed in the form of episodes, such as a theatre, bar, stands, groups of benches, etc., which will encourage the possibility of multiple activities.
The works have maintained and enhanced the current values of the estate, stitching the different areas together with a tree-lined avenue to create a second park, a second casing for the first, using a geometry of terraced trapezoids, alternating tree-lined squares with rose gardens sheltered from the noise and wind by landscaped slopes with vines. In addition, a large open-air hall is created with formations of plane trees, planted according to the laws of perspective, which results in a number of parabolic avenues reinforcing the geometry and dimensions of the space destined, together with the pine forest and the gardens, for the use of large crowds of people.
